Position Summary:

We are looking for applicators that not only apply herbicides and pesticides to crops in a safe and professional manner, but they also build and maintain lasting relationships with our growers. Creating partnerships with customers to help them organize and coordinate application timetables, assist with record keeping and offer exceptional customer service however it’s needed to ensure a successful season.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for the safe and accurate operation of applicable application equipment
• Responsible for maintenance of application and all other agronomy equipment
• General labor when not operating equipment
• Calibrate machines to a field ready status before each season
• Professional quality of work in and out of the field
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe and accurate manner
• Ability to blend fertilizer and follow label when blending crop protection products
• Ability to read maps, follow directions, operate equipment with computer assisted operations
• Have a desire to learn the trade

Job Requirements:

• Must be licensed and insurable to drive.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Commercial Applicators License.
• Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements preferable.
• Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with customers and individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination to operate farm machinery
• Must have problem-solving skills as well as being self-motivated.
• Ability to operate complex farm machinery and do routine maintenance on the machinery
• Must be able to perform laborious tasks repeatedly
• Must be physically strong enough to lift heavy objects
